Jim and I both joined JDRF as Executive Directors at the same time. We were always competetive in a fun way wanting to increase our local market share for JDRF and make a difference in the lives of those touched by type 1 diabetes. Jim was in North Carolina and he was superb in engaging volunteers and building the board of directors. During his seven year tenure he moved the chapter from12 corporate teams for their walk program to more than 700!
